About our Coconut Cream Soap
With our coconut cream soap, we break the mold from our traditional goat milk soap. Though I love what goat milk brings to a bar of soap, coconut cream brings its own luxurious goodness. Coconut cream gives soap an extra dose of, well, coconutty creaminess, and the extra fat from the cream adds more gentleness to the soap’s cleansing qualities. So, rather than our traditional goat milk, all these soaps contain a generous dollop of delicious, rich, coconut cream. And like goat milk, coconut cream turns a nice bar of handcrafted soap into an extra nice bar of handcrafted soap.
Maker’s Note: As a soap maker, I don’t mess with ingredients unless they really, and I mean really, bring something to the bar of soap I’m making. Soap is fiddly to make and adding additional ingredients can make the soap even more fiddly to make, as coconut cream does. Yet, I find coconut cream to be well worth the extra effort. I like soaps that lather easily and have an extra creamy, extra gentle lather, coconut cream produces just that and so it is a lovely addition to the soap.
Enjoy!
